Positions for Fall 2008
HHCA is seeking to employ qualified faculty to fill vacancies beginning with the fall 2008-2009 school year.  If you desire to join a professional and committed faculty and have the appropriate degree and experience, please submit your resume to Mrs. Deborah Liss, Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

  • Middle and upper school physical education; grades 6 through 12. Coaching experience is desired.
  • Girls varsity basketball coach
  • Middle and upper school English; grades 8 through 10.
  • Upper school mathematics to include Algebra II and higher.

Salary and Benefits
Salary is determined upon degree and experience. HHCA is very competitive and will work to recruit and fairly compensate quality teachers.

Benefits include employee health insurance, currently costing the employee $4.00 per month. Family or spouse coverage is available, but at the expense of the employee.

A 401k retirement program is available after the first year of employment with a 3% matching from the school.

Tuition discount of 85% for all enrolled children.

After one year of employment, HHCA will pay 75% of the tuition for a master's degree.  HHCA encourages teachers to participate in the National Board Certification program and will pay an annual stipend of $3,000 for those who acquire this distinction.  HHCA will pay the $2,500 application fee.

HHCA Faculty Requirements

Teachers employed by HHCA must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for a teaching position.  If you feel you meet these requirements and have an interest in being part of our faculty, please submit your resume, transcripts, and a brief biographical summary.  You may also download an application and submit that with the resume.  Please read the Christian Role Model Statement and the Statement of Beliefs in order to gain an understanding of who we are and what is expected of our staff and faculty.

Members of the faculty must be a Christian who can articulate a clear and biblically consistent statement of their faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Members of the faculty must hold at least a bachelors degree in the subject area they are applying for. 
  • Applicants who apply to teach in an area outside of their degree must submit a transcript indicating they are “highly qualified” and have classroom experience teaching the subject/grade level.
  • Members of the faculty must accept the school’s Statement of Faith without reservation or amendment.
  • Members of the faculty must agree with and comply with the Christian Role Model Statement.
  • Members of the faculty must be presently attending and faithful to a local Christian church.  A letter of reference from your pastor will be requested.
  • Members of the faculty will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test prior to consideration for employment.
