"I just wanted to write a letter to let you know how happy the McCracken clan is to be a part the HHCA family. If there are two phrases that would describe our family they would be faith-based and sports oriented. We have 6 boys ages 11 to 4 and they have never lived anywhere but Our biggest concern in the move was the kids. Maria and I were worried about how the kids would adapt. Needless to say they absolutely love HHCA! You welcomed us with open arms and everyone we met was fabulous. The teachers, the principles, the administrators, the coaches, EVERYONE! It has now been over a month since we moved and the kids, Maria, and I thank God every day for the “whispers” that brought us to HHCA. We are closer as a family. We sit down to dinner together at least 4-5 times a week, and the kids and us have made a ton of new friends. We found our home! Go Eagles!" The McCracken’s My husband Darrell and I decided to enroll our son JaBrook at HHCA after his encounter with students from HHCA this past summer. Ethan Gort, Taylor MacDonald, and Chris Ferraro all played on the LCSD AAU travel basketball team and gave JaBrook a good example of HHCA by the way each of them spoke of the school. Although JaBrook was very involved at his old school and consistently on the honor role, he felt that he was not learning. Everyone from the staff, the coaches, the parents, and the students have helped him feel better about himself, his athletic skills, and his spiritual goals for life. I wanted to send you a note to compliment you and your staff on a job well done. Yesterday afternoon our two B-Team football players met for the last game of the season at Danny Jones Field in "On March 1-3, I had the pleasure of hosting a group of students, teachers and parents from Hilton Head Christian Academy. I’ve hosted several thousand student groups on their annual class trip to Washington D.C. during my years as a tour guide and operator. I must tell you that the students from HHCA truly stand out . . . It was a pleasure to work with Shannon Smith and Michele McShane and the other sponsors. . . . You all made the transition a success." Vicki Head "My husband Wayne and I chose to enroll our two children, Ryan and Nancy, at HHCA when we moved here in 1991 after Wayne retired from the NFL. The Christian Academy has supported our family priority of keeping Christ as the center of our home. Our children have been surrounded by dedicated faculty and coaches that have helped them achieve their academic, athletic and spiritual goals. Ryan is now attending Duke University and playing football and Nancy, who is in her senior year, is pursuing her dream of swimming on a collegiate level. We owe all this to HHCA's commitment to be the best Christian school in developing their students for life."
