Grades 9 - 12
In the upper school, teachers work together to provide a balanced and relevant academic program in order to prepare students for the rigors of college. The academic program becomes increasingly demanding as students move into the ninth grade.
With over forty courses offered in the upper school including twenty- six regular classes, ten honors classes, and seven advanced placement classes, every student has the opportunity to be challenged. A unique facet of HHCA is the Christian teachers who guide students and disciple them in their Christian faith in order to help them “become more complete in Christ,” Colossians 1:28.
Parents send their children to HHCA because of the Christian environment and the emphasis on Christian values. The parents are committed to the mission of the school. Students appreciate the fact that their teachers care about them and want to develop discipleship/mentorship type relationships. In addition, HHCA’s upper school students build lifetime friendships based on shared Christian values evident in every facet of the school programs
