Board of Director Candidates | 2023-2026

The HHCA Board of Directors is excited to introduce their two nominations for Board candidacy for the 2023-2026 term. Board Chair Dana Taylor shared, "Randy Bradshaw and Emily Burden both bring leadership experience, but more importantly, a foundation in Christ to add to an already solid group of board members. I am excited to welcome them and serve alongside such talented individuals who are passionate about Christian education."

When asked about serving on HHCA's Board of Directors, candidate Randy Bradshaw shared, "I am truly humbled and excited to be asked to serve on the board of Hilton Head Christian Academy. We have been blessed by the amazing people that make up the HHCA family and have personally witnessed how they have poured their talents into our children. I am looking forward to being a small part of the talented team that is setting the course to grow the impact for both the current and future generations."

Professional Experience
Randy spent the last 18 years with one of the top Fortune 500 brokerage firms. In 2013, the family relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where he served as a general partner of the firm until his resignation in September 2022. As the general partner of Branch Team Performance, he had oversight of 18,000 branch teams, and was responsible for the training, coaching, and consulting functions that supported the performance of the nationwide network.

The Bradshaw Family
Randy is married to his high school sweetheart, Carole Anne, and together they have three children: Sage, Tyson, and Wren Oliver. Randy enjoys taking family vacations and getting outdoors to hunt, shoot sporting clays, and play golf.

Emily Burden

HHCA Board of Directors Candidate

When asked about serving on HHCA's Board of Directors, candidate Emily Burden shared, "I'm excited about this opportunity because I love our school and want to do what I can to see that it continues moving along the path that God has planned."

"I believe the Lord has given me this opportunity and I have learned that when He calls me to do something, I can trust His will and do it!"

Professional Experience
After college, Emily worked in Institutional Equity Sales for Stifel Nicolaus and then served as a Mortgage Loan Officer for a community bank in Colorado. Her family moved from Colorado to Bluffton in 2010, and she opened Gigi’s Boutique with her sister almost 15 years ago.  

The Burden Family
Emily and Chris Burden have been married for 18 years and they have four children. Emily was born and raised in Bluffton and after graduating from Hilton Head High School, she earned an economics degree from College of Charleston.
