What an expectional inaugural year the Drama Guild experienced! The HHCA Drama Guild was established to provide funding and other resources for the various drama programs at our school. Although it costs thousands of dollars each year to produce the plays and musicals, the enjoyment adn experience our students gain is something for which there is no price tag. Licensing and royalty fees, facility rental, set construction and props, costumes and soundtracks are very real expenses for each production. The vision of the Drama Guild is to provide funding for all areas of drama, including the SCISA One Act Play Competition, Theater in the Round and Evening of the Arts, as well as the main fall and spring productions of the middle and upper school. As students enter middle school, a large percentage participates in HHCA's drama program. Most of them continue on throughout upper school. Even if your child has not yet entered middle or upper school, your membership and support today will help ensure your child's ability to participate in the future opportunities of the HHCA Drama Program. The Guild's suppport will ensure that this program will remain stable and enjoy future growth. We urge you to join the Drama Guild now. We have different funding levels that allow you to choose a membership that works within your budget. A little money now will help ensure great quality drama productions that the students and their families can enjoy on or off the stage in the future.
