 Hilton Head Christian Academy’s middle school drama department is presenting the musical/comedy This Old House at Main Street Youth Theatre. Directed by Rhonda Stones, the production is double-cast and features nearly 50 actors and actresses in the story of Mrs. Babbington’s old Victorian mansion and the rambunctious college students who live there.
Laughter is contagious in this tune-filled romp as Mona Baddington works with friends and family to save the old mansion from the wrecking ball. The quirky family and resourceful college students are bound to leave you almost rolling with laughter. To raise money, the students decide to sell all the junk in the old house at a yard sale, but little do they know what complications they face! For example, young scientist Calvin Gregg has invented a weird gas that causes victims to revert to childhood, and the government is very interested! Judy Linseed dresses in battle gear because she's convinced space aliens are plotting to seize the nearby university. Toss in hostile neighbors, a frustrated cab driver and a pack of eager shoppers and you have an evening of entertainment for the whole family.
Performances will be held at Main Street Youth Theatre on Thursday and Friday, November 19 and 20 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, November 21 at 2:00 and 7:00 pm. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors and are available at Hilton Head Christian Academy between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, or one hour prior to performance at the theater.

This musical comedy will be fun for the entire family! Purchase your tickets in the school front office, or download an order form here and return to the front office and your tickets will be ready at the box office prior to your show. Show Times: Thursday, November 19-21 at 7 pm and a matinee at 2 pm on Saturday, November 21.
