Protecting our children is one of our greatest responsibilities. At HHCA, safety is built on a multi-layered approach that includes daily procedures, ongoing training, and strong partnerships with local agencies. These intentional measures create a solid foundation for keeping our community safe while preserving the welcoming, Christ-centered environment that makes HHCA unique.

September’s Plugged-In Parent installment focused on safety and security at HHCA. Families were invited to an in-person security briefing led by Steve Bryant, HHCA’s Director of Safety and Security, where he offered an inside look at our comprehensive safety program.

HHCA families were invited to an in-person security briefing that took place on September 23, 2025. During the informative session, Steve Bryant, HHCA’s Director of Safety and Security, shared an inside look at our comprehensive safety program.  A video of his presentation is shared above.

In October, HHCA parents were invited to join Head of School Doug Langhals for coffee and conversation in a small, casual setting. During the coffee, he shared an overview about where we are today and discussed the vision for HHCA's future. 

One of the things that makes HHCA so special is our sense of community. This fall, new HHCA Lower School Principal Dana Jenkins launched a complete lineup of Lower School Family Events designed to help parents and kids connect, build relationships, and make memories together.

HHCA moms are invited to gather for coffee and meaningful conversation with Neely Langhals, HHCA Spiritual Life Mentor, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 8:15 AM. The relaxed morning of fellowship will include helpful words and encouragement as Neely leads a 30-minute devotional focused on parenting from a Christian worldview in today’s culture.
