HHCA Mission

Hilton Head Christian Academy's mission is to partner with our families by providing our students with a firm foundation, comprising a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a relentless pursuit of excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts, through which students are equipped to impact the world for His glory. 

HHCA Statement of Faith

1. We believe the Bible is the written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God's truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice. 

2. We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 

3. We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God's displeasure, except by His mercy.

4. We believe that salvation is by God alone. We believe salvation is based on His grace alone, not on any human individual merit. 

5. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation. 

6. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God's people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and to follow Him. 

7. We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself. 

8. We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. 

• Christian education is a cooperative partnership between the school, parents, and students. Consequently, the educational philosophy, objectives, practices, and policies of the school will receive my support and that of my child/children at and away from school. The lack of such support may be grounds for being denied admission, re-enrollment, and in some cases, dismissal from school in accordance with school policies. 
   

• I have carefully read and submit to the Mission Statement and Statement of Faith of Hilton Head Christian Academy and commit to partnering with the school in the total education of my child/children. I pledge to support the aims and ideals of HHCA and will bring any criticisms directly to the faculty and/or administration so that those in authority may properly consider them. 
   

• In accordance with the philosophy of Hilton Head Christian Academy, my child/children will respectfully participate in the spiritual life of the school, including Bible classes, chapel, spiritual emphasis activities, service projects, and retreats. 
   

• The faculty and administration of the school have the responsibility, as well as the authority, to discipline my child/children and assign consequences in keeping with the discipline system outlined in the Student Handbook. If for any reason my child does not cooperate with the academic, disciplinary, or spiritual life standards in accordance with school policy, I will cooperate with the administration as it handles these situations and will avoid discussion with those not involved, so as to avert a spirit of dissension and division. HHCA reserves the right to dismiss, suspend, or otherwise discipline any student who does not adhere to the standards stated in the Student Handbook as determined by the administration.

August 1:

• Applications open for the following school year

November 1:

• Financial Aid application for the following school year open and are reviewed concurrently with admissions decisions

December 1:

• Re-enrollment for current families opens

January 15:

• Priority Admissions Deadline (new candidates)
• Priority Re-enrollment Deadline (current families)

• Families who completed the entire application process by January 15 are included in HHCA’s Early Applicant Pool.

• Early applicants receive first consideration for available openings once re-enrollment for current families closes.

• Admissions decisions for the early applicant pool are sent as soon as possible after the (1/15) priority admissions/re-enrollment deadline.

After openings are filled with re-enrolling families and invitees from the early applicant pool, the application process remains open to candidates on a rolling basis long as space allows.

Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years of age on or before September 1 of the intended enrollment year.
