What you’ll do:

• Complete our online Inquiry Form so we can connect with you and answer any initial questions.

• Visit our campus to experience HHCA’s community, facilities and mission.

• Join an Admissions phone chat if you’d like to talk one-on-one with our team.

Why it matters:

This step helps ensure a strong fit for your family and gives you a feel for life at HHCA.

what you'll do:

• Set up an account in our secure application portal, Finalsite Enrollment, and submit the online application form.

• Pay the one-time $100 application fee.

• Begin the application checklist(s), which will be emailed to you.

• Upload required documents:
  - Last full year’s report card/transcript (for grades 1–12)
  - Current year’s report card/transcript (if available)
  - Recent MAP test scores (3–12)
  - If relevant: IEP, 504 plan, psychological evaluation

• Submit teacher/principal recommendations (grades 1–12) and English/Math evaluations (grades 2–12).

Why it matters:

This formal submission allows our Admissions Committee to begin the review process and positions your student to proceed to the next step.

Any family who completes the application process before January 15 is considered part of our early applicant pool. This date is also when our current families let us know if they’re returning, so by mid-January we know exactly how many seats we have available in each grade. From there, we offer those initial openings to candidates in that early pool.

What you’ll do:

• For grades K-2: schedule an on-campus student assessment and family interview with our Lower School Principal

• For grades 3-12: schedule an on-campus family interview with the applicable principal.

These appointments will be scheduled through your application checklist.

These interactions allow us to learn more about your child’s academic, social and spiritual readiness, and for you to see how our community supports students.

• If you completed the application process prior to January 15, we will contact you with an admission decision as soon as possible after that date, and, if accepted, provide next steps.

• Accept the tuition contract and complete any required onboarding (health forms, parent/student orientation, etc.).

• Attend Welcome events, connect with your Eagle Ambassador (MS/US students) and your parent Grade Rep (LS families), begin receiving regular HHCA communications, take part in orientation day, and dive into life at HHCA.

Why it matters:

This step ensures your child becomes part of the HHCA community from day one and begins with confidence.
