Any current or prospective HHCA family may apply for financial aid if their circumstances make it difficult to cover the full tuition rate.

• When to Apply: New applicants must complete the financial aid application during Phase 1 of the admissions process.

• What We Consider: Family income, assets, family size, unusual expenses, and other extenuating circumstances—along with HHCA’s available resources for that year.

• Application Timeline: HHCA’s online financial aid application opens November 1.

Application Process (through FACTS):

1. Create an account and complete the secure online application (after November 1) at FACTS. HHCA’s school code is 11878.

2. Upload supporting documents such as: prior year’s tax return, W-2s, and recent pay stubs.

3. FACTS will review your application and provide a recommendation to HHCA.

⚠️ Important: No award will be made until the FACTS application is complete and all required documents are submitted. Parents are responsible for ensuring the process is finalized.

To ensure fairness and consistency, all applications are submitted through FACTS, an independent third-party processor. With required documentation (such as tax returns and income records), FACTS verifies and analyzes each family’s financial need and provides a report to HHCA. The HHCA Financial Aid Committee uses this report to guide award decisions. Families are then notified of their financial aid award by HHCA’s Business Office.

Families of many different financial situations qualify for assistance each year. Some may be able to contribute close to full tuition, while others can only pay a portion. While no family is guaranteed a full tuition award, HHCA is committed to partnering with each family to provide a solution that helps make Christian education possible.

No. The admissions process and Financial Aid process are entirely separate. Admissions decisions are based on a student’s fit for HHCA, not a family’s financial circumstances. Financial Aid applications are confidential and are not shared with the Admissions Office.

Yes. Families must reapply for Financial Aid annually. This ensures FACTS and HHCA can account for any changes in income, family size, or other financial circumstances from year to year.

Yes. Families may apply for Financial Aid in any enrollment year. Because financial circumstances often change, HHCA reviews applications annually, and awards are determined on a year-to-year basis.
