Camp Description:
The 2021 Hilton Head Jazz Camp, by The Junior Jazz Foundation, is the premiere summer camp for aspiring intermediate and advanced jazz musicians, ages 14-20. It is a week-long, full-day camp with 18 full-time professional faculty and guest artists. The camp, taking place July 12-17, has two major culminating performances including the camp recital and finale concert. With a combination of large big bands, small combos, theory, improv, elective courses, masterclasses and performances, this premier jazz camp is geared towards intermediate to advanced middle and high school students. With a unique vocal jazz and jazz strings option available to students in addition to a traditional jazz summer camp program, the HHJC has truly become an annual destination for aspiring musicians in the region and beyond. Tuition includes a daily chef-catered lunch as well as all daytime activities, faculty recital, special mid-week masterclass, and 2 complimentary tickets to the finale performance on July 17 at 2:00 PM.

For out-of-town students, overnight lodging is available. Space is limited, so sign up early if you are coming from outside the Bluffton/HHI region.
