Our lower school students have been busy creating and designing all sorts of things in the Maker Media space this school year. The fifth graders recently made windchimes to deter unwanted visitors to their garden. The stipulation: items used had to be items in nature or items on-hand in the makerspace! Students in other grades have been equally busy making and creating all year, which has led to the need to refill the craft bins!
If your craft closet is overflowing, consider upcycling some of those unused craft supplies to HHCA's LS Maker Media. Items used frequently include beads, velcro, duct tape, pipe cleaners, yarn, and scrapbook paper.
(Items NOT needed: glitter and toilet paper rolls!)
