HHCA's 2020-2021 Technology Investment

HHCA is making an important investment to further enhance our students' experience. This fall, we are launching a comprehensive technology initiative that will complement our personalized learning model and provide new opportunities for student achievement. You will find full details about the initiative below.

Every seventh to twelfth-grade student will receive a Dell Latitude 2-in-1 laptop to use throughout the school year. These devices will be fully equipped with everything our students need.

All of our current Apple products will now be designated for kindergarten through sixth grades, significantly increasing availability for students in those grades.

This technology is designed to smoothly transition to the incredible learning community we are creating at our new campus in Bluffton. Progress continues daily, and we are on target for opening in January!
We are also excited to announce that Tabatha DeWitt has joined the HHCA team as Director of Technology. In this new role, she will guide our faculty and students through the implementation of the new technology, and beyond. Her oversight of the program, and ongoing coaching and training, will add great value and help ensure success.

Tabatha served on the new technology implementation team for Colleton County School District in Walterboro, South Carolina, where she comes to us from Colleton County High School-New Cougar Tech.

She holds a Masters of Education from the University of South Carolina, and has an incredible background as a Media Specialist and Technology Manager.  She is also a New Tech Certified Project Based Learning Trainer.

We are excited for what she will add to the HHCA experience!
