HHCA Swimmer Caleb Eidson to Swim for Lees-McRae College

Eagle Nation extends a big congratulations to senior athlete Caleb Eidson, who recently committed to swim for Lees-McRae College in North Carolina.
Caleb has an impressive record as a competitive swimmer, with the following titles on his resume:
  • 2017 SCISA State gold medalist
  • 2018 SCISA State double gold medalist
  • 2019 SCISA State double gold medalist
  • 2019 Senior State 50 free Champ
  • 2020 HHCA new record holder for the 50 free
HHCA's Varsity Swim coach Melanie Hilton, who has coached Caleb for the past 4 years on the HHCA team, has high praise for Caleb's grit and determination. "Caleb swims his own race instead of worrying about whether or not he will beat the person beside him. He maintains a full academic workload and has managed a very demanding training regimen. He is respected by his teammates for his kindness and thoughtfulness, and at the same time, he's a fierce competitor when he hits the water. Caleb works harder than anyone else in the pool."
Caleb plans to major in Biomedical Science and attend medical school.
Congratulations, Caleb!  Your HHCA family is proud of your stellar accomplishments!
