As we continue diving deeper into full-scale project-based education, the HHCA leadership team and mentors are pouring a great amount of time and thoughtfulness into planning and preparing to welcome our students back in August for the 2021-2022 school year. We are excited to welcome 14 new dynamic, Christian mentors from around the country who bring an incredible depth of experience. We will be introducing them to you throughout the summer here and via social media.
In addition, a new position on our administrative leadership team has been designed to facilitate continued success in HHCA's highly individualized and supportive learning environment. Melanie Hilton will transition to become Principal for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. In this key role, she will oversee the implementation and assessment of HHCA's K-12 curricular program. Mrs. Hilton will make a remarkable impact as we continue to partner with families and strive for excellence in academics. She is truly a cornerstone of the HHCA community, and has served for more than 21 years.
Lynn Thurlow will serve as the Lower School Principal and looks forward to partnering with you and our lower school mentors. Mrs. Thurlow joined HHCA this year as Director of Online Learning with an extensive background in educational leadership and is a deeply committed Christian leader with years of teaching and administrative experience at all grade levels.
