Saturday, March 5
Newberry College Jazz Festival

For the first time, the HHCA Jazz Band will participate in the Newberry College Jazz Festival on Saturday, March 5, 2022. The experience offers students the opportunity to perform at Newberry College and be adjudicated by a college professor. It promises to be an incredible experience for our students! Mr. Berry will communicate details with participants soon. 

March 17-19 
HHCA's K-12 Production of The Wizard of Oz

HHCA Fine Arts is extremely excited for this full-scale production of The Wizard of Oz, complete with a large cast of K-12 students and a live pit orchestra. There will be four performances at the Seahawk Cultural Center on Hilton Head Island, March 17-19, 2022. Tickets will be on sale soon!

April 29-30
SC Solo and Ensemble Festival (TBD)

HHCA students may participate in the SC Region 4 Solo and Ensemble Festival April 29-30 in Summerville, S.C. This prestigious music festival gives soloists and small ensembles from schools across South Carolina the opportunity to perform for an adjudicated judge, receiving valuable feedback on performances.

Spring Arts Showcase

This annual event showcases the work of HHCA visual arts students and also features performances from Middle and Upper School Fine Arts students. The Spring Arts Showcase will begin at 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2022. 
Tuesday, May 10
Lower School Spring Performance

HHCA Lower School students will fill hearts with joy in this annual year-end event as they showcase all that they have learned throughout the school year, including new songs and newly discovered instrumental talent. K-2nd grade students will perform at 5:00 PM, followed by 3rd-5th grade students at 6:30 PM.

Music Trip to Carowinds

A much-loved HHCA Fine Arts tradition, the annual Music Trip to Carowinds for Middle and Upper School music students returns this year! Mr. Berry will share details with students as they become available.
