GUIDANCE CONTINUED, COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS
As students enter Upper School, HHCA's Guidance Team team works closely with each to ensure proper course placement. The Guidance Team prepares individualized academic and social/growth plans for each student and meets with families throughout the year to provide support as student's begin to make college and career-related choices. Students have the opportunity to take personality assessments and interest inventories designed to help them discover their strengths and identify "best-fit" colleges and career paths.
The Guidance Team works closely with students in choosing academic extension opportunities, such as Diploma with Distinction, dual-enrollment programs and professional internships designed to give them real-world marketplace experience.
Ms. Murphy serves as the 6th-11th grade Guidance Counselor and offers small group and one-on-one counseling to HHCA's middle school and upper school students. Mrs. Robinson serves 11th and 12th grade students as college and career advisor. Together, Ms. Murphy and Mrs. Robinson work diligently to ensure that every student and every family is supported academically and emotionally, equipped with the tools necessary to make wise and prayerful decisions regarding the future.
College and Career Readiness
Using the personality assessments and interest inventories given in the middle and early upper school years, HHCA's Guidance Team provides comprehensive pre-graduate counseling to help our upper school students discover their "best-fit" colleges and career paths and to help them achieve their personal and academic best.
