Life on Life Leadership
Life on Life Leadership provides an opportunity for students to learn to follow Jesus Christ and put their faith into action. Students who apply are paired with a mentor who will meet with them regularly throughout the school year to help them grow in their faith and in character. When students "graduate" from the program, they are encouraged to mentor a younger student. Life on Life Leadership was designed to model Biblical discipleship: training and equipping students to follow Christ and to lead as Christ led. Students are supported and encouraged in their relationship with Christ and graduate from the program prepared to impact their college campus and workplace.
- Application (testimony of Christ at work in your life)
- Attendance (commit to attend each week)
- Aspiration (desire for servant leadership in life)
- Attitude (humble, teachable, and willing to learn)
HHCA alum Samantha Norton and 8th grader Keely Langhals may not see each other around the HHCA campus anymore on a daily basis, but their friendship continues. It's a strong relationship, as they had a unique opportunity to experience discipleship together for 2 years. Through morning devotionals and prayer together, they connected, grew in faith, and shared it with several lower school students. Samantha was inspired by her mentors, HHCA alum Logan Cherry and Director of Admissions Dona Wood.
