Whether you are new to HHCA or bringing more of your children to our community, we hope your transition is both easy and exciting for each of you. We are so glad you are a part of all that God is doing in our midst!

Welcome to the HHCA family!
Eagle Ambassadors (EA) are a select group of current students who enjoy helping new students transition smoothly into life at our school prior to their arrival on campus and as they become part of the HHCA community.
New families can expect to hear from their student's assigned EA during the summer in hopes they can connect prior to coming to school in August. 
EAs in Middle and Upper School will attend Orientation on August 8th and help their assigned new student become familiar with where to go and what to do on their first day of school.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
All parents are members of our Parent Fellowship organization, known as PTF.
During the school year, monthly PTF meetings feature guest speakers, important school updates, fellowship and devotion, and more. PTF hosts and supports special events designed to create community and encourage and support HHCA's faculty and staff. 
Each grade has an assigned PTF Grade Rep who serves as a communicator and guide throughout the year. You can learn more about HHCA's PTF HERE. In addition to your student's EA (as outlined above) you should hear from the PTF Grade Rep assigned to your student's grade soon!
Athletics Booster Club
Our Athletics Booster club also offers a great way to plug in to Eagle Nation. In addition to annual memberships, volunteers support HHCA athletics in various capacities throughout the year.

Fine Arts Booster Club
Those passionate about the arts can also connect with others through our school's robust, growing Fine Arts Booster Club. Director of Fine Arts James Berry hosts quarterly meetings where fine arts supporters can connect with one another while learning more about events and program initiatives.

With an exciting lineup of summer camps that focus on everything from athletics and art to coding and detective work, along with a brand new Eagle Adventures day camp, our campus will be buzzing throughout the summer!

NOTE: Kindergarten-2nd grade students do not need bookbags. HHCA supplies bags for these grades.
Retreats are a loved and important aspect of the HHCA experience for Middle and Upper School students.
This time away from campus early in the school year is intentionally designed by our Spiritual Life Team and Mentors with epic activities to ensure class bonding, time for quiet reflection, guest speakers, and more!
Middle School and Upper School retreats will be held August 31-September 2, 2022. Details will be communicated and posted here as they become available!

Student health information is stored and updated annually in Magnus, our secure online portal.
When access to your Magus account is available, you will be prompted to complete and update all required student health information. All Magnus requirements and forms must be completed prior to the first day of attendance at HHCA. 
Immunization records already provided will be pre-loaded into Magnus. 
6th-12th grade students are required to have an annual physical exam dated after May 1, 2022, with the physician-signed physical exam uploaded into Magus before school begins.
Additionally, 5th-12th grade students who participate in athletics must have a sports physical & complete the Pre-Participation History & Health Assessment and other required athletic waivers. Sports physicals are required annually.
HHCA requires physicals for rising 6th-12th grade students who plan to participate in HHCA Athletics this summer or during the 2022-2023 school year. NOTE: Some 5th graders are permitted to play on Middle School athletic teams with permission from the HHCA Athletic Department.

On-campus sports physicals will be offered on Tuesday, May 3, and Tuesday, May 10 from 12:45-2:45 pm. The cost is $25 (to be paid online, by cash or check on the day of your appointment).

HHCA also has an online 24/7/year-round Spirit Store from which purchases are shipped directly to you! Upper School students can find a variety of dress-code-approved apparel in the store.

Menus are created monthly and posted a few days prior to the beginning of each month. Orders must be placed in advance! 
With 12:30 PM dismissal, on Fridays, only Lower School students eat lunch at school.
