HHCA Athletics enjoys a long-standing tradition of success, with 20 State Championship titles in the past 10 years alone. From 2014-2024, HHCA has earned 12 State Championships in 4 sports. Our coaches are committed to helping students reach their full potential-not only in their sport, but also in life. Our student-athletes are mentored to discover and develop God-given talents while building valuable life skills, such as DISCIPLINE, TEAMWORK, COMMITMENT, PERSEVERANCE, and SPORTSMANSHIP.
We have amazing coaches--I would argue national caliber. What makes athletics at HHCA unique is that our leaders and coaches are mentors. The student-athlete experience is transformational vs. transactional.

Athletics is an integral part of the HHCA experience, and nearly 75% of our Middle and Upper School students participate on a sports team. Learn more about athletics and physical education in Lower, Middle, and Upper School below.
HHCA student athletes are encouraged to develop Christ-like character. And while perseverance, integrity, grit, determination, humility, and teamwork will certainly help our athletes win competitions, ultimately, we want them to compete for a greater reward.
ANNUAL SPORTS PHYSICALS
5th-12th grade students who participate in athletics must have an annual sports physical & complete the Pre-Participation History & Health Assessment and other required athletic waivers. Some 5th graders are permitted to play on Middle School athletic teams with permission from the HHCA Athletic Department.
