Class of 2022
Background:
My name is Harper Krimm, and I am a Class of ‘22 HHCA alumna. I am currently living in Anderson, SC, pursuing a Bachelor of Music, with concentrations in Vocal Performance and Commercial Music at Anderson University.
How did your time at HHCA influence your career path?
Being heavily involved in the arts program at HHCA is what truly guided my career path. I always loved being a musician, but with guidance from Mrs. McElroy-Cox and Mr. James Berry, I was truly able to soar as a performer throughout my high school years. Mr. Berry also kindled my love for jazz music, and assisted me in gaining numerous opportunities opening for world renown jazz musicians.
What is one piece of advice that you would give to current HHCA students?
Love one another, be a good friend, and stay positive. High school is stressful, and oftentimes it’s easy to get caught up in the little things. Allow Christ to be the center of your mind and heart and do your best to show love to everyone around you.
