Class of 2017
𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱:
After HHCA, I played golf in college before transitioning to Strayer University where I studied Cyber & Homeland Security, and Emergency Management. In 2022 the Lord called me to pursue ministry full time when I was hired as the Lighting Director at Lowcountry Community Church, the church where I fell in love with serving during middle school. I absolutely love it! Recently I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate HHCA's marketing team & help coach HHCA Girls Golf. It’s been great to see God has working through "all the small things" & how everything has come full circle!

I was shaped most by HHCA's Worship Leadership program. I loved every aspect of Spiritual Life at HHCA: Life-On-Life Leadership, missions trips, chapels, & more ... but working on the worship team to lead students impacted me the most. I believe it has so much to do with why I'm in ministry today.

I would never have considered a career in ministry without the support & direction of my HHCA mentors.
The opportunities I was given at HHCA allowed me to see that I had gifts I was able to use for Kingdom work, & I was given space to allow those gifts to grow and flourish within the walls of the school.
- Jamie Hubbard (Class of 2017)
While not everyone will have a career in ministry, HHCA is equipping leaders to do ministry in whatever field they are planted.

Fullness: The state of being filled to capacity. Going with Christ's body, in which case it would speak of the importance of the church to Christ.

Take it all in. I remember reading something one time that said your school years go agonizingly slow, but painstakingly fast. I was at campus a few months ago and I genuinely couldn’t believe I had graduated as long ago as I did. The people you surround yourself with now are who you will become later, so lean in and grow. Grow in faith, grow as leaders, grow as followers, grow as sons and daughters, grow as listeners, and grow where you get planted. (Also, if you’re about to go off to college soon, call your mom at least twice a week, she’ll really appreciate it. )
We love connecting with our amazing alum ... and if you graduated from HHCA, we would love to feature your story. Just complete this form & we will reach out with any questions.
