Class of 2001
Background:
I graduated from HHCA in 2001. I am the Pastor at Seacoast Church in Charleston, South Carolina and I recently launched the, "On The Drive Podcast," a fifteen minute devotional to help you grow closer to Christ through the power of His Holy Word.
My most memorable experience at HHCA would have to be our high school retreats. Seeing older students worship Jesus inspired me to really take my faith seriously.
What is one word to describe HHCA's impact on your life?
Foundational.
What advice would you give to current students?
For any student, I would say one of my favorite quotes, "A ship in a harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for!" What God is building in you through your school, your community friends, and your families will help you navigate the storms of life that will come to everyone!
How did your time at HHCA influence your career path or life?
My first job after graduating from the University of South Caroline came from a connection from HHCA! The career choice to get into banking led me on a path that eventually allowed me to hear God's call on my life to go into full-time ministry.
We love connecting with our amazing alum ... and if you graduated from HHCA, we would love to feature your story. Just complete this form & we will reach out with any questions.
