Kathryn Savarese Meisenheimer

Class of 2005

Background:

I am an HHCA graduate of the class of 2005. I teach high school Spanish at Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville, SC. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and have two children, Pierce & Grace.

What was your most memorable HHCA experience?

My time at HHCA impacted my life in so many ways. My most memorable experiences were all the traditions that we got to experience as students--retreats, our senior trip to the Dominican Republic, weekly chapel services, spirit week celebrations, prom, graduation, and everything in between. The friendships I have from that season of my life are still so precious to me, and the loving and supportive teachers and staff who care about their students' academic and spiritual development are truly unique to the HHCA community.

How did HHCA shape you spiritually?

HHCA helped to give me a spiritual foundation in studying God's word and having a relationship with Jesus. Mrs. Turner's 8th grade Bible class still ranks as one of my favorite classes of all time! She encouraged me to experience the gospel in everyday life, and I will always be grateful for her and all the other teachers at HHCA who encouraged me to learn and grow as a Christian.
