Lauren Patterson Williams

Class of 2007

Background:

I am a Hilton Head Island native and graduated from HHCA in 2007. I graduated from Clemson University honors college with a degree in Finance and went on to obtain my JD from the University of South Carolina. After graduation, I clerked for Judge G. Thomas Cooper in Columbia, SC. I have worked as an attorney at Russell Patterson Law for the last seven years. I currently live on Hilton Head Island with my husband, Harrison, and son, Pierce.

What was your most memorable HHCA experience?

When I think back on my years at HHCA, I have such great memories of everything. From basketball games and spirit week to retreats and the senior missions trip, HHCA was such a fun and supportive environment to be a part of. It was big enough to offer so many different opportunities in academics and extracurriculars, and it was also small enough to ensure that you felt known, encouraged, and supported as an individual.

How did HHCA shape you spiritually?

HHCA established a strong spiritual foundation for me to rely on for support and guidance throughout college, law school, and joining the working world. This same spiritual foundation continues to shape my family and friendships today!
