Background:
I am currently a math teacher at Lucy Beckham High School in Mount Pleasant, SC. My husband, Chas Coker, is the principal at Moultrie Middle School, and we have two little girls, Kennedy (5 years old) and Mary Allen (3 years old).
How did your time at HHCA influence your career path?
I am a teacher because of my math teacher at HHCA, Mrs. Jones. She showed me how much fun math can be! As I teach now, I still use lines and memory tricks that she taught me in my classes.
What advice would you give to current students?
Enjoy the ride! It will be over before you know it, but your memories will last forever!
