How have you been impacted by HHCA?

HHCA has impacted me positively through my spiritual life and personal walk of life the most. Spending a lot of my childhood and recent years here has been a wonderful experience, and I have made many good friends along the way and have learned a lot regarding spiritual wisdom through the experience of being on the worship team. Going to this school has further rooted me spiritually in Christ. I will always be grateful to HHCA for giving me an amazing 13 years. :)

What will you miss most about HHCA?

I'm going to miss the traditions (retreats, football games, spirit weeks, dances etc.), the people, being on the worship team led by Mrs. Bagenstose, Mrs. Borack's English classes, being in jazz band, the concerts, playing cello for the school musicals at the Seahawk Center, being in journalism club and the old campus nostalgia on Hilton Head the most. There's been too many good memories and wonderful experiences to list them all here, but there are so many things that I will miss about HHCA!

Is there an HHCA mentor, staff member or coach that has a particularly positive impact in your life?

I would like to thank Mrs. Hilton for so many things throughout my years here at HHCA. Firstly, as my lower school principal, she showed me wisdom, leadership and other important life values. Next, in my middle and upper school years on the varsity swim team, she taught me how to diligently be the best that I could be, and how to compete/play for an audience of one. She gave me so much support and never gave up on me even when I was nervous about a certain event at a meet and encouraged me when I struggled to have motivation on some days. I learned better personal discipline, devotion, commitment, work ethic, diligence, and technique in my years on the swim team that have carried into my current life, and I will always be grateful to Mrs. Hilton for being the best coach, teacher, spiritual leader, and supporter throughout my 13 years at HHCA.

"Trust in Jesus wholeheartedly, pray through hardships, look up at the stars every now and then, tell your family you love them, do everything diligently and for Him. Never stop smiling and never stop finding happiness in small, yet beautiful things in life."
