How have you been impacted by HHCA?

I have had deeply meaningful and enriching experiences at HHCA! Building a strong community and connecting with mentors has had such a powerful effect on my personal growth and faith. It’s amazing that I’ve been able to cultivate friendships that will last a lifetime too. The attention and support from a smaller school environment really has make a big difference in my journey. All of these moments and lessons from these experiences have shaped my path.

What will you miss most about HHCA?

The people around me have had a really positive influence on my life. The support of my friends and mentors has been incredibly valuable, especially when they helped open doors and taught me important life skills like responsibility. I'm so thankful that I’ve found a community that’s both supportive and enriching—my growth has been shaped by these specific moments and lessons from these connections.

Is there an HHCA mentor, staff member or coach that has a particularly positive impact in your life?

Coach Aaron Mau has had a really positive influence on me, both as an athlete and as a person. Having a coach who is energetic, fun, and trustworthy has made a huge difference, not just in terms of performance but in helping shape my character and outlook on life.

"High school can definitely feel overwhelming at times, but life unfolds in its own way, and worrying about what you can't control doesn't help much."
