Hamilton Excursion for AP U.S. History Students
Several 10th and 11th grade HHCA students in AP U.S. History recently had an unforgettable, hands-on learning experience at the Peace Center for the Performing Arts in Greenville, where they attended the play Hamilton. This opportunity enriched their in-depth study of the American Revolution, a key focus of their U.S. History curriculum this semester.
"This trip was an amazing way to see history come to life. Learning the story of Alexander Hamilton in class and seeing the show in person helped us remember the most important details of the American Revolution and the troubles and triumphs our founding fathers experienced starting our country. We loved “being in the room where it happens!”
