HHCA Earns Platinum Recognition on 2025 AP School Honor Roll

 

Hilton Head Christian Academy is proud to announce that it has earned a Platinum designation on the College Board’s 2025 AP School Honor Roll, recognizing HHCA's outstanding work to expand access to Advanced Placement (AP) courses and support students on the path to college success.

The AP School Honor Roll celebrates schools that create a strong college-going culture by welcoming more students into rigorous coursework and ensuring they are supported to succeed. HHCA is honored to be recognized among schools nationwide for this achievement.

Strong AP Exam Results and Scholar Recognition

HHCA students also delivered impressive results on Advanced Placement exams administered in May 2025, with 49 students earning AP Scholar recognition for outstanding performance on college-level AP exams:

  • 16 AP Scholars (scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams)

  • 12 AP Scholars with Honor (average score of 3.25 or higher on four or more exams)

  • 21 AP Scholars with Distinction (average score of 3.5 or higher on five or more exams)

In total, 111 HHCA students earned an average score of 3.4 across 227 AP exams, with 80% of students earning a score of 3 or higher—a strong reflection of academic excellence and college readiness.

AP Capstone Diplomas Earned by Class of 2025

With the AP Capstone track fully implemented during the 2024–2025 school year, HHCA is proud to recognize four members of the Class of 2025 who earned the AP Capstone Diploma:

Audrey Atkins, Macey Langhals, Christopher Nguyen, and Nicolas Panzarella

Continued Growth in Academic Opportunity

As HHCA continues to strengthen academic opportunity and challenge students to reach their full potential, participation in AP coursework remains strong. For the 2025–2026 school year, 108 students are enrolled in 178 AP courses, reflecting continued growth and commitment to excellence.

HHCA congratulates all students who earned AP recognition and thanks the dedicated faculty and staff who support them in pursuing rigorous coursework and achieving at the highest levels.
