Four HHCA Eagles Sign to Further Athletic Careers
Bluffton, South Carolina, April 24, 2024: Four athletes from Head Christian Academy (HHCA) signed to further their athletic careers at the collegiate level in a signing ceremony on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Joined by coaches, trainers, mentors, incoming Athletic Director J.W. Wilkerson, families, and fellow students, each spoke briefly before “putting pen to paper.”
Tucker Tevepaugh signed to play football for the University of Miami, Ty'Shon “Toddi” Mansell signed to play football for North Greenville University, Jackson Conrad signed to play football for Lenoir-Rhyne University, and Dorian “DJ” Janvier signed to play basketball for Coker University.
The ceremony was HHCA’s third college signing day this year.
So far, four HHCA Class of 2024 athletes will compete at the Division 1 level next year and a total of seven will further their athletic career at the next level.
Previous signees have included Steele Burd, who will play baseball for Clemson University, Cody Bradt, who will play baseball for Radford University, and Jack Ussery, who will swim at the United States Naval Academy. Incoming Athletic Director J. W. Wilkerson says he is hopeful the school will host at least one additional signing day this year.
We are always honored to celebrate the hard work and relentless dedication of student athletes, and look forward to seeing them further pursue their dreams at the next level.

The ceremony concluded with the student body and all in attendance praying over the young athletes before they celebrated with fellow teammates and their friends and families and posed for photos and interviews. Click here for photos from the event.
