HHCA Boys Golf Claims SCISA 4A State Championship

The Hilton Head Christian Academy community is celebrating a major victory this week as the Boys Golf team brought home the SCISA 4A State Championship title on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The championship win marks the fifth state title for HHCA Boys Varsity Golf in the past 10 years and is the first state championship for the Eagles during the 2024–2025 school year.

Competing with poise and precision over two days of intense play, the Eagles turned in scores of 292 (+4) and 283 (-5) for a tournament total of 575 (-1)—securing the top spot in the state with a strong team effort. Leading the charge was junior Sage Bradshaw, who delivered an outstanding performance and captured the Individual State Champion title with a remarkable -9 finish.

I could not be more proud of this team. These young men have worked tirelessly all year, and this championship is a direct result of their discipline, teamwork, and love for the game. Watching Sage earn the individual title was just the icing on the cake.

~ Mike Spangler, HHCA Boys Varsity Golf Coach

This latest victory continues HHCA’s rich legacy of athletic excellence.

With over 60 state championships across 18 varsity sports, the Eagles continue to soar at the highest level of competition in South Carolina independent school athletics.
