HHCA Baseball Wins SCISA AAA State Championship
HHCA Baseball claimed the SCISA AAA State Championship title on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, with a 12-4 victory over Pee Dee Academy. After defeating PDA 3-1 on Monday night, the Eagles swept the best-of-three championship series on their home field. Game 2 highlights included a 6-run fifth inning, followed by three in the sixth.
The Eagles were the No. 1 seed in the upper bracket and went 6-1 throughout the tournament. They finished the season with an impressive 24-6 record.
The state championship title is the third in program history, and the first for HHCA Baseball since 2014.
It is the third state championship trophy for HHCA Athletics this year.
