Varsity Swim Hosts HHCA Invitational Meet

On Saturday, August 30, Hilton Head Christian Academy hosted the HHCA Invitational at Island Rec Center, the Eagles’ home pool. The event brought together 12 schools, 188 swimmers, 66 heats across 22 events, and more than 1,200 timed entries, making it an exciting and competitive start to the season. A team of 24 timers and 4 runners worked tirelessly to keep the meet running smoothly, showcasing the strong community support behind the event.

HHCA was proud to have swimmers from 6th through 12th grade competing, and the Eagles made their presence known. The team finished 4th overall and celebrated an incredible milestone — 23 swimmers qualified for the State Meet during the Invitational.

This was an incredible start to the season. Our athletes showed up ready to compete, and it was the strongest first meet we’ve ever had — even in the pouring rain. The team did an outstanding job setting the tone for what promises to be a very exciting season.

Megan Adams, Assistant Coach
