HHCA Welcomes New Director of Student Activities

We are excited to welcome a new face to our HHCA family—please join us in giving a warm and heartfelt welcome to Mr. Nathan Martinez, who will serve as our new Director of Student Activities.

Nathan comes to us from the Atlanta area and has a background in student leadership and outdoor ministry. Originally from Richmond Hill, Georgia, Nathan graduated from Georgia Southern University, where he earned his degree in Outdoor Recreation. His journey since then has been marked by service and adventure—spending several years in college ministry in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by international ministry in Brisbane, Australia, and then returning stateside to serve in Bloomington, Indiana.

Most recently, Nathan served as the Staff Manager for Camp All-American at Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, GA—an experience that further solidified his calling to invest in the lives of students through engaging, Christ-centered programming.

Nathan and his wife, Alexa, have two children: Hudson (2) and Audrey (2 months). The Martinez family is thrilled to be planting roots here in the Lowcountry as they join the HHCA community.

Nathan has joined HHCA part-time to finish out this school year and will step into his full-time role this summer, ahead of the 2025-2026 school year. He will lead all aspects of student life, including The Cage, Student Council, Homecoming Week, the HOCO dance, Prom, clubs, and much more.

We are excited to have Nathan join the HHCA community in this new role and we look forward to all God has in store as he begins this next chapter with us. His leadership, creativity, and heart for discipleship will be a gift to our students and to our school culture.

Doug Langhals, HHCA Head of School

Welcome to HHCA, Nathan! We’re so glad you’re here!
