Several talented students from Hilton Head Christian Academy took the stage at the Island School Council for the Arts (ISCA) Rising Stars Competition on Hilton Head Island on Saturday, March 7, 2026, delivering memorable performances and earning top placements among some of the best young performers in Beaufort County.

The annual ISCA Rising Stars competition celebrates student talent across the county, bringing together singers, dancers, musicians, and performers for a high-energy showcase of the arts.

To participate, students submit video auditions and a panel of professional judges select the Top 25 acts to perform in the live Rising Stars event. This year, HHCA was proud to have 8 student performances selected among the Top 25.

HHCA students selected for the 2026 ISCA Rising Stars live event included Audrey Mikkelson, Luke Strebe, Mallory Krimm, Josie Feldmann accompanied by Ellie Rein, Sadie Marcotte, Lucy Reese, and Eli Taylor.

The following HHCA students placed among the Top 5 performances:

Junior Division

• Audrey Mikkelson: 4th Place for her performance titled “Locomotion”

Senior Division

• Mallory Krimm: 2nd Place for her performance of “Screw Loose”

• Luke Strebe: 3rd Place for his performance of “For Her”

The ISCA Rising Stars competition provides a unique opportunity for young performers to share their gifts on a professional stage while gaining valuable experience in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. I am so proud of our students and their success this year!
