HHCA Students Recognized in Bluffton 8th Grade Art Show

Hilton Head Christian Academy is proud to celebrate the artistic achievements of five talented students whose work was recently on display in the 8th Grade Art Show at the Bluffton Library. Congratulations to Jacob Broene, Cole Castor, Caleb Craddock, Jennie Herrera, and Emme Richardson on this outstanding accomplishment and for representing HHCA so well in the local arts community.

Adding to this exciting recognition, Cole Castor’s painting, Go with the Waves, was awarded First Place and the prestigious “Best of Show” honor from the judges of the Society of Bluffton Artists (SOBA). This distinction highlights Cole’s creativity, dedication, and the thoughtful work he invested in his piece.

The Bluffton Library exhibit featured 30 student works from across the area. Throughout the show, community members voted for their favorite piece, and Cole's piece also won the People’s Choice award.

Bluffton Mayor Larry Toomer presented awards to the top artists at a special reception which brought students and the broader community together through a shared appreciation for the arts.

I am so proud of these students! I have loved seeing their creativity expressed through their designs and I'm grateful for opportunities like this that allow them to use their God-given talents to create, express, and inspire.
