As we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, families are asked to carefully review the HHCA dress code policies and uniform ordering options below.  

🛒 Two important online stores are currently open:

HHCA.ORG/SHOP - OPEN THROUGH 7/14

HHCA SHOP is our official online spirit gear store. All tops and bottoms in HHCA Shop are approved for Middle & Upper School dress code. The first of two summer HHCA SHOP stores is open through July 14, with orders delivered to campus before the start of school. A second HHCA SHOP will be open from July 15-August 10, with orders from that second summer store delivered on campus before the end of August.

HHCA.ORG/UNIFORM - OPEN THROUGH 7/26

This online store includes Lower School uniform options, the approved MS/US skort, and approved MS/US joggers. Uniform Work & Sport by ITS Classics is now operating online only. (In the past, families have had the option of purchasing uniform items at the Uniform Work & Sport's HHI location.) The ITS Classics online uniform store is open through July 26, with another store opening next month.

Although there are no major changes from last year’s dress code expectations, all families should review the full policy for their child’s division before purchasing school clothing.

HHCA's dress code helps support a school environment that is modest, consistent, safe, and appropriate for learning. While teachers and administrators closely monitor and enforce dress code compliance in the coming school year, families are asked to partner with us by reviewing expectations carefully and helping students arrive at school prepared each day.

🛒 Step 2: Use the Correct Vendor or Store

Families have several approved options for purchasing dress code items.

Please pay close attention to which items are approved for each division below.

📌 Lower School Uniform Options

Lower School students are required to wear uniforms each day unless specifically exempted by school administration.

Lower School tops must be collared shirts with an embroidered HHCA logo purchased from, or embroidered through, an approved vendor. Approved top colors include white, navy, gray, yellow, light blue, and light pink.

Lower School bottoms must be navy blue, khaki, or gray. Girls may also wear approved plaid skirts purchased through an approved vendor. Approved Lower School uniforms may be purchased through:

For Lands' End orders, use code DEANSLIST75 for a discount on orders placed 7/21-7/31.

Families may also use one of HHCA’s approved embroidery vendors for approved clothing items outlined in dress code above. 

📌 Middle & Upper School Uniform Options

Middle and Upper School students have several approved uniform options, including HHCA-branded tops, approved bottoms, an approved skort, and approved joggers.  

Approved Middle and Upper School tops include HHCA-branded t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, and outerwear.

Approved Middle and Upper School bottoms include solid navy, khaki, or black pants, and solid navy or khaki shorts. Middle and Upper School girls may also wear the approved skort available HERE. The only approved jogger-style bottoms approved for MS/US students include the joggers offered HERE and HERE. Blue jeans that meet uniform guidelines may be worn on Fridays.

⚠️ Important Notes for Middle & Upper School Families:

• The only approved Middle & Upper School skort is available HERE in the online store open now through July 26, 2026. Samples of the approved skort are available to try out at the school during summer office hours.

• The only approved jogger-style bottoms are available HERE (hhca.org/shop) through July 14, 2026, or HERE (hhca.org/uniform) through July 26, 2026.

• All tops and bottoms offered through HHCA SHOP are approved for Middle & Upper School dress code.

• Athletic shorts, athletic skorts, athletic pants, and similar athletic wear are not approved for classroom dress code unless they are the approved HHCA joggers offered through the official stores listed above.

🌎 Uniform Swap

HHCA’s Environmental Club also offers an on-campus Uniform Swap initiative for current and incoming families. In addition to dedicated Uniform Swap events, including Orientation and at least once during the school year, the Uniform Swap may be available by appointment during the school day.

HHCA will continue evaluating Middle and Upper School dress code needs throughout the 2026-2027 school year. While no major changes are being made for this school year, additional updates may be considered for future years. 

For now, families should follow the 2026-2027 dress code policies linked above and use the approved vendors and stores listed in this update.
