HHCA Chess Team Competes in State Tournament
HHCA’s Chess Team recently competed in SCISA’s Spring 2025 State Chess Tournament, facing teams from 34 private schools across South Carolina.
The team finished strong, securing 7th place overall.
Individually, junior Luke Williams delivered an impressive performance, earning 9th place in the tournament’s individual rankings.
HHCA competes in two state tournaments each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. In the Fall 2024 tournament, they placed 5th out of 23 competing schools.
