HHCA Honors England Family at New Upper School Science Lab Dedication

On Friday, August 15, the HHCA community had the joy of dedicating the new Upper School Science Lab in honor of the England family, whose legacy at HHCA is both deep and generational.

Since arriving in the Lowcountry in the early 1980s, Gail England Tralies and the late Dr. Kent England’s leadership and service have significantly shaped the school we know today. All three of their sons are HHCA alumni, and now their four grandchildren are students here as well.

The England family is a vital part of the HHCA story- past, present, and future. The naming of the science lab not only celebrates their decades of involvement but also reflects their commitment to our future.

We are grateful for their generosity and proud to have their legacy permanently represented on the HHCA campus for generations to come.

Naming this science lab is a full-circle moment. While the England's legacy is felt in so many ways, we are proud to have it permanently represented on our campus for generations to come.
