IGP Season Opens for 8th-11th Grade Families

HHCA's Guidance Team is honored to partner with families in developing personalized plans for every student that help ensure academic success, keep students on track to meet graduation requirements, and to align coursework and opportunities with their future goals. Throughout the months of February and March, the team will hold Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) meetings with all families in current eighth through eleventh grades.

Beginning February 2, 2026, students in 8th-11th grades (Classes of 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030) are asked to schedule an IGP meeting with Mrs. Megan Robbins, Director of Guidance, or Mrs. Haley Artime, College and Career Advisor.

Parents should attend these important 30-minute sessions with their students.

  • Meetings for current 8th and 9th grade students can be scheduled HERE with Mrs. Robbins.
  • Meetings for current 10th and 11th grade students should be scheduled HERE with Mrs. Artime.

On January 13, 2026, the Guidance Team hosted a family night event for Class of 2030 (eighth grade) families during which Mrs. Robbins and Mrs. Artime presented this information to help introduce families to the Upper School experience.

IGP conversations are designed to provide insights about students' goals and ensure that parents and students have a clear understanding about benchmarks required for graduation. By participating in the IGP process, parents become active partners in their child’s education, ensuring that everyone is working together to support the student's success and well-being. Likewise, involving students in the conversation helps them take ownership of their education and their future.

PLEASE NOTE: While course requests can be made during IGP meetings, class schedules are not formulated at this time. The Guidance team begins working on class schedules after IGP season closes.

Families are asked to schedule an IGP meeting before March 31, 2026.
