HHCA Announces Lower School Principal
HHCA is pleased to announce that Interim Lower School Principal Debbie Hammet has been named HHCA's new Lower School Principal. Debbie has served in HHCA's Academic Resource Center since 2019, and she served as Interim Lower School Principal during the 2023 Spring semester.
Debbie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her Lower School Principal role. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Early Childhood Education) from the University of Georgia and a Master's Degree (Teaching and Learning: Special Education) from Liberty University. She also holds a Certification in Educational Therapy (NILD), along with many other educational certifications.
She has worked with students in a variety of settings, and led in classrooms and schools in ways that have made a lasting impact.
I believe strongly in the power of collaboration, and I'm looking forward to building strong, positive relationships with families, mentors, and students to create a positive, Christ-centered learning environment. I am very excited about what lies ahead for our Lower Schoolers and mentors in the coming year. John 13:12-17 is a passage that compels me to lead in humility, grace, and compassion. This is my personal prayer and goal for the upcoming school year - that I might serve the Lord, share his love, and help keep our focus on the firm foundation we have in Christ.
