Life-on-Life Discipleship Launches for Upper School Students

At Hilton Head Christian Academy, spiritual life isn’t something we simply schedule. It’s something we live. Every day.

From intentional Bible classes and small-group mentoring to weekly chapels where students worship and grow together, our desire is to help students know and love Jesus deeply and impact the world for His glory.

A key part of this mission is our team of Bible mentors who invest in students daily. They guide conversations, teach truth, and help students understand how Scripture shapes every part of life. This foundation extends beyond the classroom and into student leadership through one of HHCA’s most meaningful discipleship initiatives: Life-on-Life.

Life-on-Life is a 1:1 Christ-centered discipleship program that connects mentors with students in intentional relationships to help students grow in spiritual maturity and equip them as Christ-followers to lead others. As students grow in their relationship with the Lord, they step into leadership by mentoring younger peers. It creates a picture of disciples making disciples, one relationship at a time.

Life-on-Life discipleship training for Upper School students interested in participating in the program begins Tuesday, February 24. Students and mentors will meet before school from 7:30–8:00 AM for six weeks. During this time, students will learn more about the Life-on-Life model and receive training to mentor younger students.

“Our goal is to help students see life through the lens of Scripture and understand the purpose God has for them. Every interaction is an opportunity for spiritual growth.”

— Jason Suddeth, Director of Spiritual Life
