HHCA Lessons Academy returns this spring, beginning the week of February 10th. 

HHCA 2nd-8th grade families are invited to request a spot in spring 2025 semester Lessons Academy by submitting the form below. Upon receiving the completed form, Mr. James Berry will reach out to applicants with details based on the availability of instructors. 

RATES BELOW INCLUDE:

  • 10 lessons
  • Lesson Materials
  • Spring Recital

Lessons Academy tuition is billed through your HHCA FACTS account.

Lesson academy Options


Fifth Grade Band (Directed by Lower School Music Mentor Kali Cooke)

  • $275 per semester, per student
  • Tuesdays: 3:15-4:15 PM

Students will report to the band room, with an after school snack, on Tuesdays.  All participants will need an instrument. Rentals should be arranged through a third party music vendor.  

30-Minute Student Instructed Lessons (piano & guitar only)

  • Solo Lesson: $325 per student
  • Duo Lesson: $250 per student

Solo or duo songwriting lessons will be available with recording artist and HHCA Junior Sadie Marcotte. 

Solo Adult Instructed Lessons (piano & guitar only)

  • Solo 30 minutes: $450 per student
  • Solo 45 minutes: $550 per student
  • Duo Lesson: 30 minutes: $350 per student
  • Small Group (3-4 students): 45 minutes: $275 per student
  • 60-minute lessons may be available to Upper School students upon request.

Note: as stated in the policies document, there is no supervision at HHCA beyond the school day specific to Lessons Academy, so please plan on picking up your child and returning at the appointed lesson time. required
