Hilton Head Christian Academy Fine Arts is excited to present Big Fish, December 5-7, 2024, at HHCA's Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Bluffton, S.C
TALL TALES, COMPLEX RELATIONSHIPS, COLORFUL CHARACTERS
With tall tales, complex relationships and colorful characters , Big Fish centers around Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest...and then some. Edward’s incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him, except his son, Will. As Edward lay dying and Will prepares to have a son of his own, Will sets out on a mission to find the truth behind his father's mythic stories. The show transports the audience from the banks of an Alabama river to a circus, a forest of witches and more. It’s an extraordinary musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre...for an experience that’s richer, funnier and bigger than life itself.
As a Director, I’m excited to see my students showcase their acting abilities and tackle subject matter that will hit close to home for many of our audience members.
