The Issachar Technology Center (iLab) is the manifestation of national research that continues to show that Middle and Upper School students are consistently moving away from traditional media resources. While our Lower School students continue to enjoy the benefits of a well-stocked, book based library, 6-12th grade students dive into a number of technology based resources including a graphic design lab, robotics center, apple tv integrated presentation capabilities and more…all within the comforts of a space specifically designed to allow for independent study as well as group collaboration. One of the newer additions to the iLab is our writing center, which encourages students to glean the expertise of teachers with specialized writing credentials. The center also works to match AP and Honors level upper school students with middle schoolers for peer tutoring relationships. In addition, the iLab works as a home base for faculty professional developments and weekly devotional opportunities.
