HHCA SPIRIT WEEK 2026

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s 2026 Spirit Week was a celebration of all the things that make HHCA such a special place. Excitement and Eagle pride were on full display as our campus filled with laughter, friendly competition, and countless moments that brought students together across every division.

Prior to the week, students were grouped into four cross-grade teams, creating connection and camaraderie across age levels from the very start:

💛 Yellow Team | Grades 1, 4, 7, 9

🩷 Pink Team | Grades K, 8, 12

💙 Blue Team | Grades 3, 5, 11

💚 Green TEam | Grades 2, 6, 10

Teams earned points all week long through a wide range of activities, including costume days, art contests, field games, finding the hidden spirit sticks, class videos, music competitions, and much more. New this year, Middle and Upper School students could also earn bonus points through off-campus community service, reinforcing the value of serving others and giving students a meaningful way to live out our mission beyond campus.

Another new addition quickly became a favorite. Students in 5th–12th grades participated in a picnic table painting contest, transforming tables in The Cage Endzone into meaningful, fun, and vibrant seating. The project not only sparked creativity and teamwork, but also enhanced a loved student gathering spaces on campus.

Spirit Week fun reached every corner of the school, with various hallways and spaces decorated floor to ceiling by 5th through 12th graders. Each group was assigned an area to transform. As usual, the creativity level of dedication to this favorite Spirit Week tradition was incredible.

Lower School costume parades on Tuesday and Wednesday led into lively all-school assemblies, where students from Lower, Middle, and Upper School competed together in games like Disney trivia and bowling. Mentors and administrators joined in too, with Lower School Principal Dana Jenkins and Head of School Doug Langhals, agreeing to dye their hair pink to announce one day’s team point leader.

Each morning concluded with all-school worship led by our student worship team, grounding the fun in faith and shared purpose. To launch the week, Director of Spiritual Life Jason Suddeth shared a message centered on the joy God designed for us, encouraging students to approach each moment with gratitude for the good gifts He provides.

Once again, Friday's grade-level dance competition stole the spotlight, as students in 5th–12th grades performed choreographed routines set to music montages. The creativity, confidence, and teamwork on display were a fitting finale to an unforgettable week. Enjoy the videos of each class’s performance below!
